Originally from New York City, I spent my early career at HBO in Original Programming where I was schooled in the art of scripted drama and the business of premium TV. I completed an MFA in film directing at Columbia University while interning at Likely Story with producers Anthony Bregman and Stefanie Azpiazu. I moved to Los Angeles and worked in development at Leverage Management on several film/TV projects including BALLERS for HBO. I directed, co-wrote and produced the popular web series NAMASTE, BITCHES which was seelcted for the episodic lab at The Gotham (formerly IFP) and my short films have screened at festivals globally.
While spiraling through the psychedelic events called “becoming a parent and raising small humans,” I moved to Australia and made it my mission to infiltrate the growing screen industry. As Programs and Community Manager at Media Mentors Australia, I ran film/TV networking events and masterclasses. I was the director’s assistant on the hit ABC series FISK and I have worked as a notetaker in writers rooms for various production companies including Easy Tiger. I teach screenwriting at Deakin University in Melbourne and I run an accountability club for writers called Ass Plus Chair. I am devoted to my menagerie of rescued animals and spreading the joy of veganism without fighting with strangers. I prefer to make friends.
